Ir. Lim Chi Aun was graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore with Bachelor Degree (honours) in Civil & Environmental Engineering and has more than 10 years professional practical experience in Civil and Structural Engineering in Malaysia and Singapore. He is a registered Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia and Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia. He is also a registered Green Building Index (GBI) Facilitator.

Ir. Lim has an extensive practical experience in both structural design and project management skills for high rise residential building, high rise commercial office tower block, retail shopping mall, institutional building, hotel suites and hospital projects. He is well-versed with various design skills in conventional reinforced concrete, post-tensioned structures, structural steel, earth retaining structures, shallow and deep foundation system and deep basement excavation.

Ir. Lim is also experienced in carrying out independent accredited checking works and building due-diligence technical audit. In addition, he provides valued engineering design and alterative engineering solutions for cost optimization. He possesses a good knowledge in using engineering design software such as Orion, Safe, Etabs, Staad Pro,S-Frame, Top Cad and AutoCAD for various structural elemental design, 3-dimensional modeling and finite element design.

Ir. Lim offers valued added engineering services to the projects that he involved by sharing his experiences with the project teams in term of Green Building Index (GBI) compliance, Industrialised Building System (IBS), Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS), Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC).

Throughout the years in civil and structural consultancy practice, Ir. Lim has exposed to other engineering related works such as external infra-structure local plan submission, practical field works experience, site quality assurance & quality control (QAQC) implementation, construction supervision, contract administration, design co-ordination and project management.
